We started
our second official seminar day with an energizer. We all were amoebas, we had to
win a simple game to transform to rabbits, then to monkeys, people
and finally to volunteers. It was funny!
After that
we discussed about manager, leader and entrepreneur. Trainers gave as
a sentence, for example “The manager has full responsibility for
the project” and we had to say if we agree or disagree and why. It
was really interesting that after some of us explain their opinions,
some others changed their opinion.
Then, the
participants from the same organizations discussed and shared with
the rest of us about what challenges our organization face in terms
of management. We continued our activities with a puzzle game about
“vision statement” and “mission statement”.
In the
afternoon, we started also with an energizer. We divided in pairs,
one of us was alone and everyone try to keep her/his partner and not
go to the single person.
After this
we all did a small presentation about the NGOs we represent. A
really interesting part of the day it was when we discussed about
east-west reality in NGOs. We found a lot of similarities and
difficulties between countries.
The last
activity for the day is called “mirror & picture” and we
divided in small teams and we shared with the others what we like,
how we feel, etc etc about the training course.
